Department: Given the strong growth, this company is improving and optimizing the professional level of the department (20 fte's) that cares for the (5 separate) business process descriptions of this company, the functional management of ERP software en reporting. This department comprise of the functional management of the systems in use. In order to facilitate the further development of the business intelligence concept we are looking for a

 

BI consultant

(Business Intelligence)

Tasks

1.       Functional management of Business Intelligence Tool (Consolidation, planning & forecasting, reporting);

2.       Analysis of financial and operational data as stored in databases and datawarehouse (SQL);

3.       Support data definition which will be the basis for further development and improvement of the data warehouse.

 

Ad 1.

  • Further development of consolidation functionality and related reporting
  • Built planning and forecasting application in Outlooksoft based on existing Excel models and input from business unit controllers;
  • In future: maintenance and extension of applications
  • Development of reporting package (numbers, graphs, KPI’s etc)
  • Integration of reporting package with other Microsoft Office applications

 

Salary: 5000 p.m. (indication)

Required:

In possession of a Dutch SOFI number

 

Personality & skills:

·        Teamplayer

·        A result driven end-to-end problem solver

·        Analytical, able to analyse data in SQL database

·        A person with a drive to deliver according to relatively high quality standards

·        A person who looks at his own work through the eyes of his customer (self-reflection)

·        Pro-active & pragmatic

·        Hands on SQL skills

·        Strong communication skills

·        Able to cope with a fast growing and changing organization

·        Able to translate business into models (vice-versa)

·        Fluent in English in both verbally and in writing; other language skills are plus

 

Education/experience

·          Bachelor in finance related study

·          At least 5 years experience in a commercial environment;

·          Familiar with monthly reporting and forecasting

·          Understanding of consolidation and project accounting

·          Experience with a Consolidation system (preferably Outlooksoft, Hyperion, Cognos)

·          Experience with Business Intelligence Systems is a plus.
