ICT department: 35 FTEs in two clusters: Service Desk and Operations with employees located in five different countries. The operations team has 14 FTEs in three countries and its primary roles are (1) the design and implementation of the ICT infrastructure and (2) the development of web sites and supporting tools. The end user environment consists mainly of desktops and laptops with Windows 2000, Microsoft Office 2003 and Navision ERP software. The ICT department is looking for:

Job description: As the company grows, we want to strengthen our ICT team. We are looking for an ICT Administrator who focuses on regular maintenance on the one hand and deals with non standard requests on the other hand.

• You will create an overview of proactive maintenance tasks, assigned or yet unassigned.

• You will set up a maintenance plan:

o    Identifying proactive maintenance tasks
o    Describe these tasks
o    Propose assignment for these tasks
o    And monitor these tasks

• You will perform proactive maintenance tasks on root systems and delegate those tasks where practical

• Perform ad hoc tasks

Environment: Windows 2003 en 2000 servers and clients. 2 virtual servers with VMware on which 14 functional servers. 10 file servers on location. Exchange 2003, Site Server, Internet Information Server.

Salary:

Medior 2.600 p.m. max

Person: Able to work in an international environment, both independently and in a team. You work according to the guidelines and procedures but you are also able to make judgment calls, balancing the interests of the user on the one hand and those of the company as a whole on the other. You need to communicate well and you prioritise your tasks whenever you have finished your assigned work.

Skill requirements:

• Extensive experience administering Windows network environments and can back this up with an MCSE

• Solid networking experience with switches, routers, and firewalls

• Structured and analytical approach of the systems you are responsible for

• Good communication skills and are a dependable team player

• Good self management skills

• Your English is fluent on a business and technical level
