Department: 35 FTEs in two clusters: Service Desk and Operations with employees located in five different countries. The operations team has 14 FTEs in three countries and its primary roles are (1) the design and implementation of the ICT infrastructure and (2) the development of web sites and supporting tools. The ICT department is looking for an: SQL Server DBA Database administrator SQL Server
The tasks •With the team of two others database administrators you will be responsible for the MS SQL databases environment. •You advise, design and implement new systems and services following our project management procedures. •With your expertise you support the service desk in solving complicated problems. •You maintain the MS SQL environment.
Salary: € 3.350 – 4.400 p.m. + 8% holiday allowance + good bonus + complete package secundairy conditions + excellent career opportunities
Skills •At least 2 years of working experience with MS SQL 2000/2005 server. Microsoft certification is a pre •Able to use Transact-SQL and construct simple queries (inner/outer join) •Knowledge about database replication, database mirroring, database design, indexing and SQL user login concept for MS SQL 2000/2005 •Good communication and self management skills •Fluent English on a business and technical level •Able to translate (functional) business processes into technical requirements
Person You are able to work in an international environment, both independently and in a team. You work according to the guidelines and procedures but you are also proactive and result oriented.
