Company profile: Mission of this employer is sustainable energy supply. Consists of 4 operating companies. Together they deliver unique projects, innovative products and services for a sustainable energy supply. ICT department: 35 FTEs in two clusters: Service Desk and Operations with employees located in five different countries. The operations team has 14 FTEs in three countries and its primary roles are (1) the design and implementation of the ICT infrastructure and (2) the development of web sites and supporting tools. The end user environment consists mainly of desktops and laptops with Windows 2000, Microsoft Office 2003 and Navision ERP software. This department is currently seaching a Coordinator Application Management
The position The Application Management Coordinator: • Organises the process of maintenance of the (business critical) applications in a MS Windows based environment with MS SQL databases • Coordinates and coaches the application management team • Manages the planning of resources for new projects and existing maintenance activities • Coordinates planning and priorities for projects with all stakeholders • Able to prioritize work and manage expectations from internal clients • Manages contracts with external parties
Together with the team: • Maintains and manages applications, pro actively by keeping configurations and platforms up-to-date constantly to secure an optimal availability of applications • Develops, prepares and implements configuration changes and/or monitors and executes outsourced activities • Manages versions of applications and develops, maintains and documents application related procedures • Initiates proposals to improve applications, systems and processes within the organisation • Maintain the application permission structure (user groups and assignment of rights)
The person You are able to work in an international environment. You have a strong personality and are able to deal with resistance. You have the capabilities to work within an environment of many different stakeholders. Building bridges between different stakeholders comes natural to you and so is finding the right balance between business needs and ICT service offering. You are proactive and result oriented.
The skills • Good knowledge of and 5 years of experience with application management • General ICT knowledge on bachelor level via study and/or experience • Good knowledge of and experience with ITIL • Experience in project management • Experience in team management • Excellent English language skills, both in writing and verbally
