ICT department: 35 FTEs in two clusters: Service Desk and Operations with employees located in five different countries. The operations team has 14 FTEs in three countries and its primary roles are (1) the design and implementation of the ICT infrastructure and (2) the development of web sites and supporting tools. The end user environment consists mainly of desktops and laptops with Windows 2000, Microsoft Office 2003 and Navision ERP software. The ICT department is currently looking for a fulltime:

System Administrator

Environment: W2k clients; Microsoft Office 2003; Navision 5; Windows 2003 servers, VMware server virtualisation; fileservers decentralised; Exchange, Internet Information Server; etc.

The position

As a Junior System Administrator, you will be based in Utrecht and perform second line support for all our offices consisting of:

· Install, test and implement hardware and software

· Solve issues which have been passed on by the first line support

Salary: 2.000 – 2.600 p.m.

The person

You are able to work in an international and fast growing environment, both independently and in a team. You work according to the guidelines and procedures but you are also able to make judgment calls, balancing the interests of the user on the one hand and those of the company as a whole on the other. You need to communicate well and you priorities your tasks whenever you have finished your assigned work.

The skills

· Good knowledge of the client side (W2K) in a Windows 2003 domain

· Knowledge of administering within a Windows 2003 domain

· Up to date knowledge of current hardware

· Experience in administering phone systems (optional)

· Excellent English language skills, both in writing and verbally
