ICT department (6 offices in 5 countries) consists of 40 FTEs in two clusters: Service Desk and Operations with employees located in five countries. The operations team is located in three countries and its primary roles are the design and implementation of the ICT infrastructure and the development of web sites and supporting tools. System Management Coordinator

Job description

The system management team consists of six people located in different countries. The team is responsible for the Windows network environment and the root systems including all (virtual) servers, ESX VMWare environment and SAN’s. Tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinates and coaches the system management team

• Manages the planning of resources for new projects and existing maintenance activities

• Coordinates planning and priorities for projects with all stakeholders

• Able to prioritize work and manage expectations from internal clients

• Manages contracts with external parties

Together with the team:

• Manage projects for our internal customers;

• Implement new systems and services following our project management procedures

• Support the Service Desk in solving complicated problems

• Responsible for proactive maintenance on root systems

Salary: € 4.500 p.m. (indicative)

Your skills

• General ICT knowledge on bachelor level via study and/or experience

• 5 years of experience in administrating Windows network environments

• MCSE certification

• Used to working within and improving on ITIL based service organisations

• Experience in project management

• Experience in team management

• Good communication skills

• Fluent English on a business and technical level

The person

• You are able to work in an international environment with an international team.

• You have a strong personality and are able to deal with resistance.

• You work according to the guidelines and procedures but you are also able to make judgment calls, balancing between business needs and ICT service offering.
